I take systems apart to see how they work. Then I build systems that run.
I open things to see how they work. As a child: the TV, the toaster. Then buildings. Then software. Then companies.
I studied architecture in Bogotá. I learned to draw systems before I learned to write them.
In 2012 I founded Axioma, a technology studio. Six years, 120+ projects, most of them built by me. I wrote a framework so each project took less time than the last.
In 2018 I moved to Berlin. M.Sc. in Project Management and Data Science, grade 1.03. My thesis asked why machine-learning projects fail in companies. The answer: the organization is not ready, and it has no words to say so.
Since then I lead technology. Gender-equity data in Latin America. Logistics optimization. Computer vision against illicit goods in global supply chains.
I think in steps, states and flows. So do machines. That is why I work well with them — and with LLMs.
